Ilmatar Winter Dress

465

In Finno-Ugric tales, Ilmatar is the name of a virgin spirit of the air. In the modern tale, she was the one who blew air into the puffed sleeves of GUILD’s Ilmatar dress. Historically, the puffed sleeves emerged from Renaissance, made a great comeback in the early 1900s and again in the 1930s as a response to previous focus on androgynous silhouettes.

Our dress is the perfect companion on crisp winter days. Feel yourself comfortable in the loose falling dress or wear it with a belt to define your waist.
